CLIENT OVERVIEW:
You are a member of a community of Providers across 9 primary categories and close to 50 sub-categories of providers catering to parents of children in Loudoun County Virginia. It is our intent to bring parents and Providers together on one platform to learn about and share information that is in the best interest of the children of Loudoun County and the Provider community. To be included it in their platform the criteria is simple. As long as you do business primarily in Loudoun County Virginia, have a public facing website and provide a service across the many categories we include on the platform, we welcome you.
UNIQUE NEEDS:
- Add some text and context to the Login page so people know what they are signing up for.
- If we log into the site on a mobile device the search icon is below the 3 search criteria. It gets lost where it is. Need to include a search icon next to the three search criteria or find some way to present “search” in a way that it is not lost on the home page.
- There is not an automated email that is sent to a user once they register on the site. Again, currently the registration process is not very welcoming. We need to have an automated “welcome” email go to the user once they register.
- We would like to be able to offer to providers a “branding page”
- Client needs for a user to click on a star and have the stars populate or “fill in” instead of “un fill”.
RESOLUTION:
Our team made a copy of the website using the GoDaddy account credentials provided. Worked on the changes and modification requested by the client in a local copy of the website and updated http://kidsactivityadvisor.com/ website.
